Facebook 'comments' how embarrassing

Options
I've been happily commenting on FB comps, making up 'funny' rhymes, telling them my best joke, NY resolutions etc... and I've just realised that it comes up on my 'Friends' timeline-ie 'Emuchops just commented on why she likes big pants'.
Slightly embarrassed about this.
How do others deal with it and is there anyway to stop it going on my friends timeline when I do it?
I understand that the 'comment' will be public once it's on whatever page I made it on, but I don't want my friends being told and following the link and seeing my rather lame efforts.
Thanks all.

I know, embarrassing isn't it! I don't have real friends on my Facebook just comping friends, I leave it up to my daughter and her account to find out what my real friends are up to lol x

  • I think my friends and family are used to it by now. They usually follow me to the competitions now that they know I do win some. It is embarrasing sometimes but I must admit I try and avoid the worst and enter the application ones instead.

I am another person who only just realised that the comments come up on other people's news feeds. A friend said "enough with the competitions", I entered quite a few over Christmas! I try and limit the comment type ones too now, unless it's a really good prize.

I don't enter many fb comps for this very reason!
