new back account before BR

Tigerfeet2006 thanks but the girl assured me if my mobile banking didn't work to arrange appointment with her and she will sort it as she had done so for several other ppl. I have now sorted my payments into my new account and I'll let you know how my online banking goes. My online barclaycard account has gone today but my basic and old account (which I obviously haven't used since BR apart from transferring wages) are still going strong lol. I think maybe they are getting more relaxed about things at the banks now anyway what with all the dodgy dealings and bad press. Let's face it online is the future and cheaper for them too.
If its Barclays, then the 'girl' had better watch out as she is breaking company rules... Barclays are most certainly not getting more relaxed over this, in my experience, they are getting tougher.0 -
Just telling you "my" experience,so far they are not and they couldn't have been any nicer seeing as I owe them money. like the "girl" said they can afford it and she wasn't being anti barclays. I will post on here if it's any different. Maybe she just liked me. Like to add I have had a few telephone conversations with different people from barclays and they have all been very nice and understanding each time.0

Hi - sorry, I didn't mean to sound snippy - and I have to say everyone I have dealt with at Barclays has been professional and pleasant. However, your experience seems the exception rather than the rule and any member of staff who deliberately goes against a company policy is skating on thin ice I suspect.
Its great you have fared so well with them - with a bit of luck it sounds like you will manage to keep your internet banking.0
