TRaining grants/Loans for electricans courses

Hi
I was wondering if there are any third parties out there who could offer a grant / loan for me to retrain as an electrician, I just need the re-test course , part P etc so the cost is around`£ 800 if I do it online etc. I am 51 with lots of electrical experiance and working within the houses and industrial sector, but never got the qualifications then I went traveling (5 plus years) before all the new regulations came into place.
I am currently unemployed and asked the job center if there are any grants etc, they said NO money or courses available. I would be unlikely to get a loan due to being unemployed and do not have a credit card I can put the cost on. Briefly looked at a career development loan, but you need to be here for 3 years, but as I only came back 18 months ago, I am not eligible at this time. No I do not have friends who I could ask for a short term loan etc
Any suggestions, as there are a lot of decent paid electrician jobs out there or I can set up my own business when I qualify, so paying back the money in a short term would not be a problem.
Thanks in advance
Michael

24+ advanced learning loans which are for courses at level 3 & above are not credit checked and you start repaying when you earn over £21k p.a.
Info here https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learning-loans/overview
Contact your local FE College as there is also the first Level 2 entitlement funding, Skills Support for Unemployment and Adult Skills Budget funding which may be available.0 -
Thanks for his, I started to look for grants / loans after I typed this request and found it, it seems like I can apply for it (not sure about the 3 year thing yet, but it says you do not need a NI number, so that rule may not really apply - I will have to wait and see) and have started the application, and just asked the provider to supply me with a letter of the course so I can complete the application.
Thanks
