Winning Telephone Calls

Hi,

I've not had one, but I am wondering if you receive one do you think the company will leave an answer phone message or will they just pass the prize onto someone else?

I keep answering my phone in case I've won something amazing but I'm not enjoying all of the PPI, Debt Consolidation and general spammy phone calls I'm receiving and wondering if screening via answerphone messages might be a good way to deal with this?

Thanks :)

Depends on the competition, some will move on, some will call again, not sure how many (if any) leave a message but if it is one where they move on they almost certainly won't.

That depends on the competition if it's one they want to play on air, near date tickets etc I think they are call and move on like some of the other radio stations, in the same way ITV normally call over a 4 week period but for time sensitive it's 2 weeks and for time critical they try over a 3 hour period and move on.

I keep answering my phone in case I've won something amazing but I'm not enjoying all of the PPI, Debt Consolidation and general spammy phone calls I'm receiving... :)

Y'know, sometimes I'm in the mood just to listen to Kevin from Mumbai as he goes through his lovely little spiel... "Just a few more questions, Sir, we are going onto the veery last page now..." or "Are you absolutely sure you didn't have a loan or credit or other financial product in the last x years, it says here that you did, Sir..."

And sometimes I just ask them to take me off their contact list, and they laugh and tell me they can't...

And other times, I hear their opening lines and I just laugh and put the phone straight back down...

    It's all good!

ps. I don't think ITV mind calling back, but I wouldn't bank on them to leave a clear message!

Itv didn't leave me a message, just a missed call and a sleepless night for me until I could return it when I googled the number!

I got a cheap mobile and SIM just for competitions, and I've been wondering this too. I'll probably have a heart attack if it rings.
