Hi we seem to have a few people starting their clean up so I thought I would pass on my experience of this.
A.D in August last year. registered with Noddle in November a couple of things not right nothing serious..this was put right when I checked the following month.
Last month I applied for the £2 report from Experian and Exifax all was as it should be.
It was a job I has been dreading but was ok.
I will maybe get a report each year as I see things drop off.
Noddle I can check each month.

Hi luvchocolate
Out of curiosity, why were you apprehensive about checking your credit file after AD?
For most people in my experience, it tends to be the prospect of declaring bankruptcy itself that has them worried!

mine has been a long road for over 5 yrs an ex partner who breached a declaration of trust involving 3 properties...this left me dealing with mortgage companies, council tax, legal ombudsman, land registry to name a few. this took all my self confidence... I worked and still do full time and in my 60's.
I was mortgage free and money in the bank prior to (I cannot put into words how I feel about this man) not on a public forum!!!
So I have never had the need to check my credit file before and to see all this in black and white was more than I wanted to see, but I know I had to continue down this road.
Bankruptcy was the only thing I could do when he was evicted from a beautiful property..stripped it of all fittings, and it sold with a massive shortfall approx £90,000.
sorry there was not no quick answer... bet you wished you had not asked!!
But I will survive as the song says xx0
