Cheapest place to get lamb leg steaks and diced lamb?

Down to my last pack if YS lamb. Been trying to seek out lamb in the reduced for a while. Don't want lamb chops as they are fatty.

Needing lamb leg steaks, diced lamb and other leanish cuts of lamb for curries and slow cooker recipes.

If its for stews and curries i would opt for goat instead of lamb. Or a cheaper cut of lamb such as neck

Don't go to Farmfoods - their meat is awful and shrivels away to nothing.

Difficult to get hold of in areas with few ethnic shops or farmer's markets though.

I dont live in an area with ethnic shops, or farmers markets either, but all local butchers stock it., so perhaps yours would too?

The local butchers don't sell it around here. Not much call for it. I do know some goat farmers in other parts of the UK who do mail order though.

Also, sometimes you can get some at the farmer's markets around here. I know I could get it in the ethnic areas of Cardiff, but we don't go to Cardiff very often.

    It's the same with mutton.

Just looked and my butcher has a website (learn something new lol) Diced goat is £6.90/kg. but diced lamb is only £7/kg, so not much difference. Just checked out sainsbobs, they want £14/kg for diced lamb
