Fake uggs from snowbootsonly.co.uk

My daughter has ordered boots from this very obviously fake site for £60. Has anyone else got any experience of this site?
My best case outcome is that reasonable quality boots arrive (ideally without having to pay any customs fees). Other outcomes are no boots arrive, poor quality boots (with custom fees), or even more money taken out of her account!
I know with some of these we could do a chargeback through the debit card, alternatively if could be a £60 lesson!

I don't think there is much we can do other than wait to see if the boots turn up, if not, make a claim via debit card. Unless anyone has a better suggestion?

no suggestions but it may be worth keeping a close eye on any CC transactions just in case.

She's alerted her bank and will keep a close eye for any unusual transactions. I think all we can do now is wait & see what happens.
I was really hoping to find someone with experience of ordering from them......
  • The website is linked to a number of other websites all using a similar format. One of the other websites is:

    sheepskin-boots-store.co.uk

This is listed as a counterfeit website on the official UGG Australia website.

    Counterfeit.uggaustralia.com

(You'll need to put in the website address).

Scam adviser has a listing for your website. If you search for scam adviser in google and put in the company website address you will see it.

The company appear to be based in China.

Sorry it isn't good news; I hope you find the information useful.

It's pretty obvious it's a Chinese website: No contact address or phone number and, of course, the address on the Domain Registration.

The OP should do a chargeback on her debit card. See this MSE guide:

As for Scam Adviser, according to Web of Trust it has been blacklisted by a third-party website due to the presence of malware.

Thanks for all the advice, yes I know it's pretty obvious - to me at least. However I don't think she can do a chargeback until the company has (theoretically) had time to deliver the item. I don't really know how long to leave it......

My friend has just ordered and recieved these. They are a cheap copy. Any ideas on how to return them for a refund as the email contact does not work and I can not find a phone number!

Having read the T&Cs I would not bother to return them - you will have to pay shipping to China, and I doubt you will get a refund. I would try a chargeback with your bank, on the grounds that goods were not as described.
Just out of interest, how poor quality are they? You wouldn't really expect to get £190 worth of boots for £50.....although I expect them to be worth a fraction of that :(
At least we know more what to expect now......

Well the boots arrived OK (no customs charges), not surprisingly they are obvious fakes, not absolutely terrible quality but probably not worth £50. The soles are stiffer than real Uggs, they are not double faced sheepskin and have a separate synthetic lining.
She e-mailed the supplier to complain, who replied by return denying they were fakes.
The only option is a chargeback with the bank now. And to learn from the experience :(
