Treatment of thread veins (in legs)

I am new to this and apologise if this thread has already been covered somewhere else - does anyone know if there is any treatment (cheap) for thread veins - since the birth of my children and due to weight gain etc these veins have appeared just above my knees and do not know how to get rid of them and in my opinion are very unsightly - someone said it could be pressure i.e. bouncing my babies on my legs causing the red veins to appear (how true that is i've no idea)!

Any advice given would be much appreciated.

If you search on the net you will find a couple of places that train doctors, dentists and nurses in thread vein removal (for legs) and they use models. If you don't mind being a guinea pig you can get them done if there are enough of them. You have to have an initial consultation to make sure you have enough of them to be useful for demonstration and that you are suitable for the treatment. They don't do the training through the summer because you have to spend quite some time in support stockings (very hot) afterwards so that the treatment is more successful also you have to avoid extreme of hot or cold afterwards.
