Question about mag daily comps

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but do the mag daily competitions produce much spam?

Also, has anyone won much on them?

Very occasionally I get an email update listing the current competitions each site is running, but certainly no spam.

I've won a few things so yes people win fairly frequently

& never had any spam from them

in IWIWIW there's lots of winners from them

you sometimes get emails from the companies supplying prizes but not all of them

I just won a mag daily prize, after only two months of comping, and haven't gotten spam.

I've won half a dozen times over the last year on the mag dailies

I've only had two wins from them in about 15 months of doing them however, don't get any spam from them, except on the odd occasion I've accidentally clicked yes to an offer instead of no, and I've had dozens of "Ruby Palace Casino" emails for about a fortnight afterwards - they don't bother me though as they land directly in my spam folder anyway!

When i sign up, the terms of conditions (eg here from good to know) say

" Tick this box to agree to the rules and privacy policy of this service
Third party offers may include premium rate SMS and telephone charges. Check terms for details and obtain permission from the bill payer before using these services."

Will I be charged therefore if some third party decides to text me?

When you register for the magazines, they ask for your phone number, but it isn't required. So I left it blank, and I never give the third parties my mobile or accept those offers.
