looking for a job when children begin school??

Ok so i hope this makes sense as i write it, because ive got it spilling out of my brains,
i have 2 children a 6yo at school and 4yo due to start school in sept...

i currently dont work as i gave up my job june 2012, as childcare would have cost a fortune and a hell of alot more than my wages, during school holidays for clubs and nursery, and my employers weren't prepared to be a bit more flexible or give me set days, i only worked part time anyway but had to be available 7 days a week for rotas, my partner works full time and we live on his wage as well as tax credits and a bit of housing benefit....

So come September time, bearing in my mind i am not on jobseekers or income support, am i obligated to look for a job with both my children in school...i need to try find something that will fit in with school, like maybe working at a school but these jobs are obviously hard to come by, so i will be looking and trying to find something to do, or do people know of any jobs i can do from home etc...please dont say avon etc ive tried them....

i hope this makes sense, any advice will be greatly appreciated :-)
thank you :-)

If you're looking for work, part time or full time, I recommend looking at a job search company or employment agency like hound.com. When I was looking for work, Hound was the best option for me. :rotfl: I was able to submit all my work experience, my resumes and job skills even after being out of the work force for 5 years since my son was born. I HIGHLY recommend them. SUPER helpful and very professional. I let them know what kind of work I was looking for and they provided me with a list of all kinds of employers who were looking for someone with my experience.

    Good luck!! :D
