A big thank you to all the people on this site that are helping me to save money. Especially in this "Old Stlye" thread.
My thinking is slowly changing to where my money is going, even though I'm still very slow on its uptake.
Today I spent £10 in Claire's Accessories, on 20 items reduced from £72.14. So I saved £62.14. Why is it that men rarely see such "savings"?
I know my husband will say "But HOW have you SAVED anything"?
Well all those little gifts I buy to give out all year and spend £5 or £6 quid each on, I won't be doing now. I'll have a "Dip-In" bag instead. So it is long term savings I'm talking about ...........................I think!

That would be my dad's attitude too! If I've spent money how can I have saved it LOL! Men don't often see the wider picture like we do ;)
