I can't open Internet explorer

I don't know why. One day it was fine, the next day it wasn't. I have tried updating but t says I have the latest version. I then tried to to do a system restore but it wont do one. Any advice welcome

Right click the IE icon and start without add-ons.
Or press the windows key + R on your keyboard and in the run command window that opens type or copy/paste:
iexplore –extoff
(Note the space between iexplore & -extoff)

No, still wont open. The window opens but nothing in it....just white0

oh sorry it has opened now.....first time I deleted the - as in -extoff as I thought you meant that was a space.......duhhhhhhh silly me.
I will go and play around now
