Options
so i just went down to co-op and yet again reduced counter has been moved and is empty anyway (as in other thread) and have already ditched Mr T (too expensive, no coupons, dodgy offers) so have decided to switch to Morrisons (as I work near there now) - thought it would be handy to have an up to date thread here for good buys :

if i find anything interesting i'll post it

ie first one is clementines 79p bag!

Great idea WhatRecovery as Morrisons has even fewer offers listed on the website these days.
  • Yes, you actually have to go instore to see them - odd, as so many other stores are heavily into online! Still, suits me these days - now work nearby and have totally gone off online shopping , expensive, wasteful, restrictive, for us anyway!

I find the fruit varieties at Morrisons are poor at times, veg and salads very good but their choice of fruit varieties are very average.

Its because the otyher stores have an online presence whereas morrisons have not long started trialing online delivery.

The Morrisons website is actually much better for viewing offers than it used to be!

    https://groceries.morrisons.com/

If you sign up with a postcode that they do deliver to, assuming they don't deliver to you yet (I'm sure you can change it later!), you can browse as you would on Tesco or any other online shopping supermarket website. A postcode that does work is CV4 7AL if that helps anyone!
2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book
  • I'd agree with Edwardia in that "Morrisons has even fewer offers listed on the website these days."

My understanding of the Morrisons we deliver to you site (from their splurge about their new onsite offering) is that all this produce comes from their new central distribution setup, not from local stores. Consequently whats on offer there may not be available in store and vice versa. Someone please correct me if this is wrong.

pittspitch, you're right. Morrisons bought one of Ocado's distribution warehouses then leased them back half.

Deliveries in Warwickshire start 10 Jan, Yorkshire comes next.

As the order will come from central distribution, it should mean that customers can order from their whole range. Also that produce arrivrs in better nick !

personally I've never rated Morrisons for their reduction bargains, and their normal offers rarely seem to be on the kind of things I routinely buy. Its very rare that I do my big shop at MrM, despite it being my nearest supermarket.
