UKPC - do they really do court? by parking prankster

The court cases alleging victory by UKPC on their website has often been commented upon on this forum as being untrue and unfounded:

http://www.ukpcappeals.co.uk/legal

Parking Prankster's Blog also confirms this to be the case as these cases all mysteriously date from 2009 and all from Maidstone County Court.

I would also like to add from checking this website initially in September when submitting my own appeal that this list was in fact only five names long and has now grown to ten.

Parking Prankster states that he does not know where they operate from - however their website states: http://ukparkingcontrol.com/contactus.aspx

Unit 29, 1-2 Denham Parade,
Oxford Road,
Uxbridge,
Middlesex UB9 4DZ

However, there is a Mace's general store at 1-2 Denham Parade - with living accommodation above.............

This is also confirmed by using google maps.

You'll be shocked to learn that there is no Unit 29 or at least not by any normal measure but then we are dealing with PPC World. Unit 29 almost certainly relates to a small mail box. Nothing more.

However, look at what other businesses have previously "operated" from that same address and you'll find some interesting links to other alleged unconnected PPC's...
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Not shocked in the slightest HO87 :)
well aware of the mail box drop tactics of UKPC and other PPCs - UKPC use a PO BOX mail drop which is the royal mail sorting depot in Uxbridge for their appeals on NtK's.

Well aware also there is no Unit 29 - as explored on google maps.

The registered address for UK Parking Control at
    The Apex
    Sheriffs Orchard
    Coventy
    CV1 3PP

is also a mail drop address with numerous other companies also with the same registered offices including:

Training Brokers (UK) Limited, Burlingham EEIG, NV Unlimited Litd, Walnoot Limited etc etc.

Zoominfo cite UKPC has having a Revenue of $50 - $100 and staff of between 250 - 500 which would certainly put them fully audited account category if true. Not to mention the difficulty in placing all those staff in the mail boxes! Yet another lie spun by UKPC. They also claim to raise money for charity - out of the profits from all their parking charges.

Company accounts give a completely different picture:

This has been covered on here months ago, think someone has even done a foi request on those court cases
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Not forgetting the same cases used to be on the DRP+ website who claim they were their cases!

Googling that address brings up a strange link! http://public-notice-online.org/2013/11/public-notice/:eek:
  • Also those who answer the phone for ukpc are not in fact ukpc staff
Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T
  • Ukpc taking lots of people to court at MetroCentre car park. One case down and ukpc lost. We are next does anyone have any other advice or actually found a case where ukpc have won??
  • Would be interested to know anything you know about the case which won, or about how many other cases there are.

I'm happy to comment on their claim and your defence if you want to email it to me.

  • So if in a almost totally empty parking level and I still managed to miss a parking bay ..could of sworn I was but hey ho, ticket on my screen as I had contravened the UKPC rules....do I ignore as it seems to be the case advised on here, or am I banged to rights guv ??? Cheers medears :j
  • Firstly, start your own thread - keeps things simple and focused.

Then read the newbies thread - all very standard for these and UKPC are easy to beat. Wait for the NtK, Soft Appeal, then PoPLA appeal.

Don't be paying, fight and win with the templates on here.
  • Many thanks ... I did look about but am easily confused and very new to these shenanigans and i am on my mobile, but I will do better honest :D
