Hope this is right board and someone can advise. My daughter works wed & sat each week earning enough to claim ssp. Last worked wed 18th Dec doctor signed her off for 2 wks on fri 20th Dec gave sick note to employer that evening. Dr issued another note today 3rd Jan for a further two weeks. She has received £43 today ssp - is this all she will receive also for the next two weeks?
Are the 3 qualifying days out of the first 2 week period of her illness calculated as being the Sat/Wed/Sat that she didn't work? Any advice appreciated.

Yes she will only get SSP for the says she actually works.Hope this is right board and someone can advise. My daughter works wed & sat each week earning enough to claim ssp. So for 5 days she’s get full SSP at £86.70
Has she been paid £43.35?
This would them be 2.5 days SSP
Shes not worked 4 days up till now and 5 if we include tomorrow?
5 days less 3 waiting days is SPP for 2 days so they have probably overpaid her a bit there.
Depending on when pay day is then she will get some more SSPon the next pay if the sick/fit note covers her for this time
Would she normally have worked on Xmas Day? That's was a Wednesday? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
