Apologies if someone has already posted about these (I had a look but couldn't see anything). The other day in Aldi they had 2 different Kids Cookbooks for £2.99 each. They are spiral bound and have nice basic recipes with lovely colour pictures. As it was DD's birthday on Friday I got both and they have gone down a storm. She took them into school on Friday and I have had numerous phone calls asking where I got them from. They would make a lovely present for any kid. One is just a collection of basic recipes and the other is recipes for different occasions - Mother's Day, Christmas, Easter, Channukah, Thanksgiving, Dwali and so on. I think they are lovely. Tonight DD made toadstools (hard boiled eggs, topped with tomato halves and dotted with philly) and flapjacks, both things which she probably wouldn't have eaten, but wolfed down cos she'd made them. DD is 9 btw, but kids could use it from about 6 upwards I reckon.
