Had a look at through Lakeland boxes and they look fab! I currently use those stand up ziplock bags you can get in Home and Bargain, which I find very good, but they're not reusable.
Just had the last of my hm loaf toasted for breakfast, with some St Dalfour raspberry jam. I really like St Dalfour and it is one of the few things I won't downshift on.
Using up some new potatoes, kale and onions tonight in a hash, with l/o chicken from yesterday. Lunch is likely to be omelette as I am working from home and I have loads of eggs. I might do some baking later too.
Hoping for a NSD today.
Have a good Monday!Jane

Managed to spend £60 so far, £15 was on food. The rest was on alcohol and cigarettes. Have worked out a meal plan until friday that I only need to buy milk for, so hopefully that will make up for this weekend.

Good morning,
I hope that everyone is doing well in their grocery challenge. £1.61 spent yesterday on an old El Paso fajita kit from Mr.M which was 1/2 price. I feel that I am doing well so far but will need to venture out later to a little top up shop and hopefully won't spend too much.
I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of their dayMarch GC £606.33/£400

After posting saying yesterday would be a NSD 3rd DC came down with the dreaded bug so sent DH to get some freezer shopping incase we were stuck indoors. Was a good job as all 5 were poorly by last night. He spent £27 but had a £5 off voucher so 22 to add to my sig. Will need bread today as he couldn't get any. Off to update my sig and remove my NSD. Hopefully can replace it tomorrow.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Can I join too? My budget would be £200 for the month, 2 adults and a 4 year old.
Did my monthly food shop yesterday and spent £96.66, and the only thing I need to buy foodwise is milk for the month. So I'm hopefully going to stay well under budget!GC July: £0/£1200 -
Happy Monday!!
I will be the joke of this thread if I don't sort myself out soon! We are 3 days into the month and I have spent £80.13/£200.00..and I haven't even stocked that much!!!!
Here is how it is divided:
Food: £50.43
Cat Food: 8.52
Toiletries: £10.75
Alcohol: £10.43 (2 ales 1 red wine)
Boyfriend promised me to make do with half the alcohol we used to buy. I didn't even have to beg him but I guess he is willing to meet me half way since he hasn't quit smoking yet!!
At the moment, my figures are pretty laughable, but I will work hard to get ourselves on track again!
