asda champagne offer

I placed an order online at Asda click and collect on 2nd January to be collected on 3rd January just before the champagne offer expired or so I thought. When I arrived to collect the order I was informed the champagne was £29.75 I queried the pricing and was informed although the order finished on 3rd January the price change was applicable from midnight on the 2nd January going into the 3rd January surely this isn't right how can this be part of the price guarantee.

I'm afraid its whatever the price is on the day of collection rather than at the time of ordering. Same applies for home delivery.
