ASDA PS+ Not Sent With PS4

ASDA have sent me an email stating the PSN card I should have received with my PS4 will not arrive until 31st December, since then I have purchased PS+ as it is cheaper to do so for a year. Now they are trying to send me it out, stating that Sony had the delay and they cannot refund me the £39.99 I have paid out of my own pocket.

I have explained that my contract was with ASDA and not Sony and that I am now out of pocket, I have still not received a PS+ card and they are refusing to budge, any pointers?

I don't understand what you're after, why should Asda refund you? They didn't force you to purchase PS+.

Was it a trial?

If not, ps+ 'stacks' so if you use the code they send you will now have two years on your profile and not just the one you have bought.

No they didn't force me to do anything, but like XB1 and XB360 you need to have the subscription for online gaming. As an online gamer, I purchased a package with it already in to allow to me to this. You get 14 days after which you must pay £5.99 a month or £39.99 for the year. I purchased a year thinking I could get my money back from ASDA. Rather than the rolling £5.99 a month which equates to £70.00 a year.

Didn't realise it rolls over, this is a good solution thank you for your help.

No problem, worth bearing in mind as sometimes Sony have special deals like 25% off, if you buy it then it adds onto your current subscription.
