Is it just me or is anyone else not very pleased that Craig Brooke (MD) has shared everyone's email addresses?! :eek::eek:

I got this email aswell, it was at like 11pm!


I also have just complained about them sharing everybody's email address, surely its a breach of data protection?

Yes it is DPA breach and they can be fined.
Of course if they did get fined it'd put them off running more comps so maybe better to complain to the company but no further. In this day and age it amazes me companies can be so dim. Very bad PR for the company.

Mind you, he's probably been inundated with emails from disgruntled compers and probably looking for the BCC button in order to email us all an apology.... :rotfl:

Many thanks for your email, first of all I must offer you my personal apologies for sharing your email address but please be assured this has not been done in a malicious way it is simply human error....mine, for some unknown reason I made the mistake and I hold my hands up.

Just to hopefully restore some of your faith in us I’d like to explain that we are a small family run company with only 3 employees and we are trying to use social media as a means to promote our business and services and due to my personal carelessness it looks like I may have done the opposite, we are a genuine company and we do not share data with anyone (intentionally) so please do not think this is a regular occurrence.

I hope we haven’t caused you any inconvenience I have removed your details from the data we gathered from the competition to ensure this NEVER happens again.
