Dozey crow's flight of financial fancy

Hello everyone and welcome to my diary, :hello::hello::hello:

Mr Dc and I and monster the rabbit are going to move house some time this year and need to save every penny we can. I have lurked on MSE for years but only found the courage to post this year when I started working full time after nine years away from it. I have joined the 'take your lunch to work thread' and 'save £365 in 365 days' which are really helping.:)

To be honest I am now finding it tough to fit everything in because of working but it will get better again I'm sure. Money isn't too bad years of having to be careful means that we have being frugal down to a fine art! We have some room for improvement though with food shopping , utility bills and 'monster' (rabbit) costs. Sometimes things stall when we are tired as I will just buy things rather than shop around and we did have chips a few times last year due to lack of organization which has to stop I will be posting about this soon.

For now I just want to say Hi. I am signing off with our food costs and expenditures for the day which is a new thing that I will explain about in the next post.

B ys bagel (1p) and cheese (2p) x2 = 6p :T
L butternut squash soup (15p) & ys bread (10p) x2 = 50p
D salmon fillet (£1.10) pots (10p) veg (15p). x 2 = 2.70

S. Biscuits 20p
Stollen 16p

Total is £3.62 for both of us not bad really.

Otherwise an NSD :j

Small steps and all that...
