Large ccj chance of mortgage

I have a large ccj from a year ago of around 8k which I will pay off by end of year. I have had a mortgage with hsbc which I have been paying since 2006 with no late or missed payments.
I am hoping in two years to buy a new property with a deposit of around 35 to 50 k (house value 150000 to 170k) with my partner who has a1 credit rating.
I am the main earner with salary of 30k.
Do you think by this time (ccj satisfied and over 3 years old) any mortgage company will touch me ?
