Tesco vouchers when paying with Barclaycard

I have just ordered an online grocery shop from Tesco. Taking off the £6.50 worth of vouchers I entered at the checkout brought the price down to £75. However when I clicked through to the Mastercard Secure when paying with my Barclaycard World Mastercard the full amount of £81.50 is shown.
Looking back at my last order I noticed that on my Barclaycard statement I have been charged nearly £4.00 more than I should have been because the vouchers haven't been taken into account despite going through on the Tesco website. On the Tesco site my shop was £102 however on the card statement it was charged at nearly £106.
Has anyone else experienced this? I like using the card to get the 1% cashback.

When I go through checkout at Tesco (groceries only) the Visa security bit usually shows a couple of pounds more than my order total. I've always assumed they get you to authorise the amount without discounts and vouchers taken into account because they charge you the price of the items on the day, rather than on the day you order. However, when they actually take the money from my account, it does match my printed receipt that arrives with the order. If it's the same with you, you should find that you are only charged the cost of the order when payment is taken on delivery day, even though you authorised slightly more.
For your previous order where you were overcharged, did you check the total on your order summary/receipt that arrived with the order? They do sometimes charge you more than the guide price on the day you order, so that could account for that - for things like fruit and veg they don't know the exact weight they will be so you can be charged more. I don't think the Tesco website updates once your order has been picked so if your guide price was £100 but your fruit and veg weighed more than expected and took it up to £105, the website would still show £100 in the completed order section.0 -
I don't remember checking the total on the last order receipt when it arrived. I know there wasn't anything on it like fruit and veg that would have needed to be weighed. I'll check the receipt when it arrives tomorrow.0

Panic over. The Barclaycard statement shows the discounted amount. Don't know what happened the last time.0
