Final offer checks

Underwriter has done his bit and now it has gone to final offer checks before offer gets sent out in the post - any of the experts on here know what that terminology means? Involves?

I can't advise what it means, however we had our valuation done very recently. I rang the bank to check status a day or so later once I knew it had been valued at asking price, the bank said the application had sent for final underwriting which would take "up to three business days".

We got a text about 6 hours later that very same day to say the offer had been issued and was in the post.

Hopefully the same will apply to you and it'll be a quick turnaround.
