According to my jar of Nescafe Alta Rica, one serving is 1.8g. Assuming that is equivalent to a teaspoon, about 4p for the figures you quote.0

zero balance/scales
weigh cup
zero scales
put in how much coffee you usually have
the number displayed is how much coffee you use per cup
divide this number into how much is in the jar, then you have how many cups you have per jar.
divide what the jar cost by how many cups and that's your price per cup.
*simples*just in case you need to know:

Unless you have very accurate scales ( which you would need to weight these small amounts ) , and can guarantee you always use the same amount of coffee, it can be better if you base your calcualtions on 10 measures rather than a single one. This will help average out the differences0 -
Certainly a lot cheaper that a coffee from Costas/Starbucks etc!
Of course, there are the costs of sugar and milk (if you use them). That might be another 10p, depending very much on how much you use.
I also find, for instance, that I use a larger scoop of decaf, than I do regular, because I find I need more decaff to make the same taste as regular.Because it's fun to have money!

4p for the coffee and I have single cream and no sugar so that works out at approx 10p a cup, if you factor in electric to boil the kettle approx 2.5p

So 12.5p for my coffee if I wanted sugar that would add another 1p per tspBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
