Rossendales - think of this next time someone posts about them!

I was just browsing the Rossendales website seeing as they are being used by Excel and VCS to send threatograms now:

http://www.rossendalescollect.com/index.php/staff

''I think the best thing about working for Rossendales Collect has to be the free eyebrow waxing, massages and Sheila and Elaine with the tea trolley.
You get regular massages at your desk and eyebrow waxing which is great if you don’t have time to get to a salon.''

You couldn't make it up!

And the worrying fact is that so many of the "employees" seem to feel the need to comment on it. Can one assume that these freebies define their staff demographic?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I really did think this was a joke website at first:

I have worked here for nearly 5 years now and I have seen massive improvements in the way the company is run. The staff are regularly treated to free eyebrow waxes & massages – I have never known this of any other company I have worked for.

I used to work for a company that thought it was that good, and encouraged staff to make written comments like that, [STRIKE]people[/STRIKE] creeps then tried outdoing each others comments to impress their line managers to gain favour!:o

Sounds a lot like Nev Wilshire's BBC 3's 'The Call Centre'.

Probably only on a DIY basis.

"I work for the professionals with the professionals"

That's strange because I didn't find Rossendales very professional when bailiffs turned up on my doorstep chasing an alleged unpaid council tax - debt not even in my name and was a previous owner of the property. It took the threat of legal action for harassment and compensation before a written apology was received.

I love that programme - and the Rossendales comments reminded me of the Call Centre's airhead tea-lady! I always think of The Call Centre when I get unsolicited calls on my mobile (which isn't TPS registered). I once asked to speak to Nev or Griff or Chickenhead...the stupid 'PPI reclaim' idiot on the other end put the phone down!

The lovely Hayley Pearce, what a star, but would you chance a cuppa from her pot?
