tesco thorntons comp

bought a box of £3.50 chocs from Tesco, on the lid is a competition for 10 £1000 vouchers to spend in Tesco, plus thorntons classic hampers give away. I cant find where to ener the code on the website, theres no expiry date on the voucher inside and on the lid the expiry date is 31/5/14. cant find it on the site though any one have a link thanks.

I've just tried too from a box I had for Mother's Day and the entries had to be in by January 31st, there's no expiry date on the voucher or on the lid of my box.

Thorntons We're really sorry you are disappointed and weren't able to enter our competition. These were on sale before the competition ended but as our supermarket partners may have had some stock left, they continue to sell it whilst it is in date. We will pass your comments on for any further competitions we may run and make sure an end date for the competition is clear on the leaflet, not just the website.

Terms and conditions state that expiry date is 31/6/14 ! This has not been reached yet and never will of course because there is no such date ! What a farce ! Possibly this could be pursued with Trading Standards ....

Erm, I think they've just changed the terms and conditions for a new competition....
To claim your FREE Classics Trial box, you must enter your unique code followed by your personal details (full name, address, email contact details and age) when prompted.

2.Offer is valid til 31st June 2014 and is subject to availability, while stocks last.

This is an offer for a free box of chocs, not the hamper / £1,000 vouchers?

I think they have just left the title showing comp ended etc - possibly because this new one hasn't started yet, or just because they've forgotten to change it?

As for there not being a 31st June, well, don't you make typos sometimes?!

Farce yes, case for Trading Standards, no...

(And I still don't see the point of bumping a nearly 3 month old thread to say that as your first post - seems a bit fishy, if you ask me, but still, you're a newbie, so I will try to reserve judgement).
