Hello and happy new year,
I was just wandering how long the OR looks at your bank accounts whilst in BR,
Is it just initially to see your incomings and outgoings and to check weather you have just withdrew large amounts of money before BR, or do they constantly study your accounts throughout the whole BR term.

They have the ability to do both, but IME, it's usually just the former.

I suppose ultimately none of us can be certain as they'd go directly to the bank for statements. But unless the receiver holds some suspicion as to your activity it's likely a formality at the initial investigation.0

They do not "monitor" in that sense during BR. Not the time, the need or the ability in place. You have a duty to cooperate with the OR, and if they really needed anything them they could require you to divulge it or maybe apply for a court order to obtain it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
