Need a External Hard Drive

I need an external Hard drive which has USB connectivity to back up the data from my laptop.

I dont have huge annount of data so anything from 40GB to 250 GB would do.
But the price I am looking at is sub £50.

I had a look at amazon and the one I am liking is this one

250 GB EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

It has got good reviews as well.

Also there are some others like the passport ones like this one..

PASSPORT HARD DRIVE

suggestions please

Thanks
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

Drive prices have reached a low and you can get big drives for not much more then small drives a 250GB is about the best price less then £50.

If you want the drive to be portable then you will pay a premuim and get a drive that uses a 2.5" (laptop) drive, the capacity is limited as 2.5" drives dont go as big as 3.5" (desktop) drives they are also more expensive.

I plan to use the drive on my laptop.
I hope I can use the bigger drives like the 250GB on my laptop to backup my data.

    Thanks

I have a 60 GB HD in my laptop but I need an external drive just to backup my data in case the laptop crashes as it has done just now. So I need a drive to recover that data and for future to back all the data I have on my laptop.

    Thanks

The advantage of the passport drives is that they can work from the power in the USB, the large drives usually require a power source.

I have just upgraded the hard drive in my laptop my 60 died over christmas so I used the 40gb out of my external drive I have just bought a 100gb and installed it the 40 is now going in a new external caddy I also bought that powers from a single USB and also allows me to do on the go backups of my digital camera so no more lugging the laptop round if I plan to take a lot of photos.
