in the last 12 months I've paid

    £1200 off a kitchen loan with £693 outstanding:j
    £1200 off carloan £2600 to go :(

reduced my credit card limit by £1200:j This time last year my credit limit was £1950 and as of today it's £750. I'm hoping to get this down to £500 and then I can pay if off in full each month - I like using my credit card in shops rather than cash.

Once the kitchen loan's paid off I may use the £100 saved to pay off the car loan quicker but on the other hand £100 cash in my hand is going to be a lovely feeling.

Not as lovely a feeling as having the car loan paid off, I'll bet.

Try running the car loan through the Snowball Calculator, with and without the extra £100pm, and see how much quicker you will pay off the car loan (and how much interest you will save), by putting that extra £100pm toward it.
  • £6,464.65 for me - (£6,600 paid minus some balance transfer fees). On track to clear the remainder by July 31st this year :o

Hey Lantanna - we have all done amazingly well including you, that's awesome. I was particularly impressed with your weight loss also - 65lbs lost since April??? Wow! What's your biggest tip?!
