All about this. I have no idea what we should be doing. Some people like you say, the link on the first daily page is still working & just updates it's self to the next month prize so does not need to be re listed on main board or in daily's.

Some people say it needs to be re listed because it's a new comp every month

Some people say it needs to be re listed on main board because some people don't know where the daily thread is

I have asked on that thread if someone some where can pleased say what we should be doing with this as I myself in the past have listed them & been told to take it off as it's a dupe, & I have linked to daily thread from others & been told to take it off & have asked for merges as it's a dupe & been told that's not right either

I think it's best to post the 'new' comp on the main board as some may not look at the daily comp because they know they don't want the prize, yet would miss out if the prize changes.
The daily link just keeps running, so the new comp post doesn't need to be added to the list.
Just IMO.

I think this would be the best solution.

I can understand that posting each new prize every month on the main board could be the first time people see it as they might not know about the daily list & if more people find it then that's brilliant.

I can see why Layla does not need or want them added onto the end of the daily thread because the links on the front page of the daily thread change automatically for the next prize & takes extra time for Laylay to sort out

If everyone agrees to this can we add it to the compers guide so if people say like I did it's a dupe needs to be merge we can show them the compers guide stating what should be done.

Then we all know what's happening

I think the main point is whether it gets added to the main board or not. If it gets added to the daily thread then, is it so bad? I know Layla has a lot of work to do (hats off to her), but she could just ignore the post .... couldn't she?

I have an idea, If the link on the daily thread is ok, then you dont need to add a new one to the daily thread.
Where as if you keep adding new links even though the comp is still running on the thread it just gets confusing.
like today someone added the new clipper tea link (same as old one just under a new title)
so therefor I had it twice on the thread.
Which I then had to remove again.
If you dont like the way I do it feel free to PM me your suggestions or Take over the daily threads
