  • I wouldn't discount going via the shorter North Circular (A406) and M1 route, especially given the times you will be travelling.

There are no night buses to Watford Junction

A theoretical route would be the 111 to Heathrow, the N9 to Hyde Park Corner, the 10 to St Pancras, an FCC train to St Albans and an early morning 724 to Watford Junction arriving at 0500

You leave Hampton on the 111 at 0122

    I did say theoretical.......

Thanks for your input, I will definitely try each route a few times and decide then!

Haha...! That is a mad itinerary, it is very unfortunate as there is a train from Clapham Junction that would get me in at 5:40, 10 mins late, but nothing earlier.

Would it be quicker to take the 111 the other way to Kingston instead and catch the N87 to Aldwych from there?

I'm yet to find out, just had the training for the role in Birmingham, I start tomorrow though in Watford so I'll find out soon!

Thanks, it's a good idea, although I guess it's unlikely any of them will live in my area!

Aldwych still leaves you shy of Kings Cross though. You'd need to check the times

Happy to help, there might b work colleagues that live half way and you could driving to their house daily and then take turns driving in from there???
