I find that the ones with more star ratings are the ones where there are more problems as people tend to leave feedback more when something goes wrong.
I never clear browser settings and cookies. You don't "have" to unless there are many problems occurring, in which case it might be a good idea.
I largely agree with this.
If a task has a rating of four or higher (sometimes I risk a three) or no rating, I will open it and give it a go. Often, no rating means the task is brand new and has just appeared, and/or, there are no problems with it so no-one has rated. If it won't work for me then it's frustrating but I'll just give it up. On the other hand tasks with 3 stars or less tend to have been rated because they are problematic, and I avoid them. I tend to only rate tasks when they don't work, that clearly have errors, are impossible, as a signal to other users not to bother.
I do often see tasks that are fine though, with a 4 star rating, where people seem to have rated for positive reasons, because it's particularly quick for example, because the result you're looking for is the first result on the first page.
I've never raised a ticket for Crowdflower, considered it and found it just as much work as the task itself, and just left it.
My advice is, if it doesn't appear to work, if the result you're looking for doesn't appear in the first 10 pages, if it tells you you need to go to the page by searching for it and you have, make sure you did it all correctly (right search term, clicked right result etc) try it once more, look carefully, and if still no, just give it up. It's only worth so much of your time. You'll learn by trial and error which ones tend to be problematic and you may well find you speed up also because to an extent you'll find yourself remembering where/what answers are and what pages results are on.

They can take up to 10 working days to issue them. Check in my orders and see if it's verified, if so will be sent within the 10 days.
Thanks for that! I'm still trying to find my way round the site, it has been verified on the my orders bit and also says that it can take up to 10 working days, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

thissavvystudent wrote: »Does anyone have experience with the paypal giftcards? I claimed my first one today and it doesn't seem to have registered in the giftcard section of swagbucks, nor has it gone into my paypal account, but my swagbucks total has been deducted. Any insight?
It takes about 2 weeks.
Look under 'Order Status' and it will say 'Verified' if you have verified your address already.
If not, you might have to wait for a validation code that some users have to input before Swagbucks will release the gift card/payment.0 -
