I'm new to swagbucks, and neither of those phrases are working for me. Is it usual that it only works for some and not others?

Different words/phrases will work for different people. I think it's more about how often you use the search rather what you type in specifically. I just type in random words, and copy and paste search wins from this thread, and eventually i'll get a win. There's no exact time limit.

Search phrases sometimes work for people, sometimes not- but often you will win with a phrase that has worked for someone else.

Word from the wise- NEVER waste your time with a Compass Rose Disney survey or a Hall & Partners survey. They will never credit you, usually DQ after ages in and are known for this x

Oooh, that was a nice bonus. Struggling today, so thought I'd try the wowcher promotion on a different email. I though it was for 40, but it's credited at 70SB! My job, today, is finally done :j
