I have been using the search engine on swagbucks all day while I've been doing a client's work. Why would I go to bing or google when I need to look something up when I could get the same result from the swagbucks search engine?

If that is the case I won't bother - swagbucks can keep its search engine and I'll go back to using bing.

After I clicked on search a page came up with the swag guy saying I was searching too fast and asking me to use the search tool like I would any other search engine. I didn't think I'd been searching excessively and I was browsing through 3 or 4 pages of search results too. Tried to search a term again 30mins after the warning and the warning page came up again!

Are you just searching, or are you clicking into a site as well? If you are just searching, they will tell you off (and could ban you) as you are not using the search facility properly (bare in mind, they dont get paid for searches, but when you click into a link).

Thanks for the tip, I do click on links if they interest me but not always. Time to change my practice

That's pretty much how I search too. I don't always click on a link after a search either if I think I can search again and narrow the topic down more or angle it in a different direction to get the info I need.
