I contacted Swagbucks support regarding referring friends, and what system was currently in place. I specifically wanted to know if the 10% for (nearly) everything was still in effect, even though it was meant to finish on the 25th Feb. The answer I got doesn't answer that question 100%, but it looks like that offer is in place for the foreseeable future.

Here was the reply I got:

Thank you for emailing me. In the past, you would only earn SB for your referrals based on their search wins, up to 1000 SB. Any of their credits earned from other parts of our site would not get matched in your account. As of recently though we've had some new referral earning opportunities, which you can check out here: http://blog.swagbucks.com/2014/01/new-referral-earning-opportunity.html.

Please encourage them to use our search engine along with the other earning opportunities on our site so you can both earn more SB's!

I've been struggling since Saturday. I've been screened out of almost every survey. Today I've not done one survey. I'm currently on 36 sb and my target is 94. I've had times when I've got over 200 with no problem.

7.5 mins for only 2 SBs.

You can get 5 SBs in the same time just by clicking on the 1SB videos.

I just don't understand why people bother with it as its such a pain in the butt for little reward.

As for surveys, I haven't done a survey in 5 days and reached my target every day.
Today, I got over 250 with no surveys before 11am.....and I didn't get up until 9.30

I'm wondering why its so difficult for some people, yet others have no problem whatsoever.
