I have only been a member since June this year so can only comment on the last six months but this has been the only sale in my time and nobody has mentioned there being other sales throughout the year.

With regards to saving up or cashing out. Personal choice really. Martin Lewis always recommends cashing out asap as any company can go under at any time and you can lose all of your rewards without notice.

I think that it depends on what you are saving up for, for instance if you are saving for Paypal then the price difference is quite considerable so it is worth saving up to cash out at £100 rather than in smaller denominations.

Amazon used to be until recently the same amount of bucks whether you cashed out of £5 or £100 so it made sense to cash out earlier and save the money in Amazon rather than Swagbucks.

I always aimed to save for a £100 Paypal but then when my bucks got about half way I would scare myself, there would be talk on here about Swagbucks going under or I would log on to find the site down and under maintenance and that would spook me enough to bottle it and cash out for Amazon vouchers instead as I couldn't risk losing that amount of money.

I have been reassured by a long term member that SB's is safe and I shouldn't bottle it so easy but I'm afraid up until now I haven't been brave enough :rotfl:

    Personal choice really.

Well I've only been Swagbuckling 3 months joined 18th Sept happy 3 month anniversary to me today lol:rotfl:
If my memory serves me right (not as good as it used to be...my age haha) prior to this recent xmas sale Amazon Gift Cards were on sale at 825 SB (for a fiver) not sure what date they reduced them but they definitely were before the xmas sale when they were on offer at 800 SB and then they put them up to full price currently 849 SB.
I suspect although wouldn't bank on it that once the xmas sale finishes they may reduce the Amazon Gift Cards down in price again, just a thought and it would also be in keeping with the January sales might be worth bearing in mind if like me you only buy Amazon cards.
  • So... After 2 weeks of daily targets being 30-40 / 80-105, i've logged on today to targets of 100/320

    Don't think i've accumulated 320 points in 1 day since i joined..

Oh trust me the honeymoon doesn't last long, not even as long as my past marriage :rotfl:

I can concur your 1st target will stay fairly constant but 2nd target does fluctuate. I sooo wish mine was as low as 320 pts mine is currently 680 pts :( mind you my own fault been hammering the bucks and claimed over £300 Amazon vouchers in 3 months I know I need a life or rehab in the new year, think a phone call to Jeremy Kyle might be on the cards...ok perhaps not!!! :D

    Search: '01962211998' for 10 SB.

I usually ignore calls from weird numbers as they're inevitably spam like PPI, 'about your accident' (what accident?!!!) etc.

But then I always check them after just in case cos I enter lots of competitions too!
    :A

    Credits since November 2013
    Swagbucks = £275vouchers + 1006 pts; Pinecone = £25 + 700 pts; Valued Opinions = £60 vouchers + £6.25 Ask GfK = 570 pts; YouGov = 2125 pts; Gratis Points = 660 pts; iPoll = £3.79; MySurvey = 940 pts; Qmee = £3.08; Populus Live = £7; Smilecity (NZ) = 12517 pts; Global Test Market = 1100 pts.

Yes. Sportly on my iphone has been playing up today. I didn't notice it was running for hours without crediting, always said 11 videos to SB etc.

I think what happened is they've updated their vids so my favourited one (some ridiculous laughter yoga one) was removed, it would play but not credit. Signed out then back in, the favourite vid was gone so set a new one and it's now crediting again, but lost lot of time.

    Annoying.

Hope they haven't changed lifestyle too, got a nice 10sec fave on that!

Thankyou, read your post and checked again and they have started working.....yay :)

You're right Stuart they were on a "sale" price before the real sale but I discounted that fact because when asking it seemed to be that that sale price was the actual figure for as long as anyone on here could remember, therefore I didn't regard that as a sale but paws crossed that they will drop again to those past figures but I won't hold my breath :rotfl:
