Suffering with a cold so completely forgot about the code day and for some reason didn't get any email notifications from the code thread...very strange. Gutted I missed out but hey ho.
Surveys seem to be getting rarer than hen's teeth for me and struggling to make first target each day but determined to get to the end of the month for full bonuses again.0 -

Back now though, would be great to get all the CB but with my luck with searches I'm not holding my breath! That quick DB survey has helped with today's target, at least.[CONGRATULATIONS :T

I am slightly concerned about reducing the life of my phone significantly by running these apps everyday. I have an iPhone, so the battery is not replaceable. These apps seem to take many hours each. Any advice from someone who knows?
It has to have some detrimental effect on the iphone and ipad but also on your home pc or laptop if continually doing sbtv you are shortening the lifespan but I suppose there are lots of pros and cons. What would you being doing if you weren't doing this on your devices.
I have reasoned with myself that I don't think that these apps will last very long before they are pulled or pretty much worthless so I will continue with for the time being and reassess as time goes on.0 -

Generally, my phone would be dormant if I wasn't using these apps. I think I would be considered a low user normally, so I'm probably only using my phone to the extent some people normally would! But judging how long it's taking me to get to 16 SBs on 1 of these apps, there aren't going to be enough hours in the day for me to do both!
But fair point, nothing seems to last long with SB- it'll be a couple of weeks and then they'll remove it or lessen the value, so I'll stop bothering. I may just save it for days when I really need the extra- like Sundays.Minimalist

If running down the phone battery is a real concern, you could always manually scroll through the videos - you will get 18SB in about 5-10 min!0 -

I know its been talked about a while back but can anyone tell me if its ok to do? Always a bit wary of downloading stuff.
Can't see that anyone has replied to you but am behind on the thread so apologies if they have.
I installed this on the intention of just keeping it for the 500 SB's and then deleting but kept it as after the first week you get a £5 Amazon voucher. You are awarded one point for each week you keep it on your phone so after the first week you are given one point, plus five points for the free £5 Amazon voucher, making six, was going to cash in but then noticed that you only needed ten points for a £10 Amazon so by keeping it on my phone for another four weeks I would get £10. I decided to do this as I have not noticed any effect on my phone from having it on there, not even slowing down the use of the internet on there.
Obviously, this is just my opinion and the choice is yours.0 -

Doing it manually is a bit distracting but it does take all the delays out between each view.
This is what I do ( I would not use an ipad as it takes more battery power to run:
I have the phone plugged into the mains.
I make sure my brightness is set to manual and then make it as dark as I can.
I have the phone in the portrait position so when playing the video it takes up the least of the screen.
I choose the shortest video ONLY and put it in my favourites and run it over and over until I get all 18 SB's.
After I do it the first time I monitor when it started and finishes and note how long it took. For all subsequent times I set the iphone timer in the background just before I start to alert me when it should be finished so I don't leave it running through any longer than it has to.
This is done for each app one after the other (in the case of the iphone currently thats 2 apps but hopefully the others will come over from android first)
