Hi all, has anybody else done the month trial with The Sun offer? Was wondering if there are any hidden cons to it and if its easy enough to cancel within that first month?

Hi, I did that. It credited quickly. I gave my Paypal details rather than credit card as I wasn't sure how easy it would be terminate it either. Just before the end of my trial I looked at how to cancel and they directed me to the live chat, where I was advised that I'd need to call a number to cancel. Instead, I just terminated the Paypal agreement and then received an email a day or two later saying that they couldn't take the money for the upcoming paid month and that I'd lose access after 20 more days if this continued to be the case. So from that, it's over as they can't charge me.

Yes, it's the movie pass. About 1000 films. Let's you watch for a month even if you cancel early. Takes a £1 out of your card to verify refunded later. It's Sky so fairly safe.
  • Boo came home too late to get the big survey on my dashboard!

Not a happy bunny today. Ordered £100 Paypal on 11th August, I've had to contact SBs twice to chase it and today my order has been refunded without any explanation. Now I've had to place it for a second time and wait again.
