The target don't go up and down according to what you did the day before.
So if you only reached 30 yesterday out of a target of, say, 90, then your targets won't automatically drop the day after. Nor will they go up the day after.
It takes a few days for an average and then it goes up.

The second target is still high because your average for the week is high.
If you don't hit the 2nd target for 4 or 5 days, it will drop down.

Hitting the 2nd target isn't necessary anyway and only serves as a motivator for your own satisfaction.

Your situation is pretty much how I found it when I first started and couldn't understand why so many people found it hard to hit targets. I wasn't aware that it fluctuates for different people and not all the same offers and surveys were available to everyone.
After the initial mass of surveys they then trickled down to a steady supply but not nearly as many as the first few weeks and some days there are none at all.
I have gone a week without a single survey before now.

So best advice really is reach your first target so you get the monthly streak and one lot of bonuses and then only hit the 2nd target if and when its easy to do so but don't hit it on every 4th day. This keeps it down at a manageable level.

thanks this makes more sense now - im not sure what to do now though i just completed two surveys and got two search bonuses plus ive had loyalty radio on the go so im making bucks quite easily - the idea of stopping now goes against my nature to keep getting as many as possible every day!

You are just as well to do as many as you can. It doesn't matter too much if the 2nd target is too high to reach on a couple of days or if you just feel like having a day off doing too much.

So long as your 1st target is met, then you will get your monthly streak.
    Everything after that is gravy.
I always try to reach my 2nd goal but if I don't it doesn't really matter much plus, it keeps the 2nd goal from climbing too high :)

I had this one as well with the same result. I took previous pages info (available via history) using cut and paste along with URLs and have sent in a ticket.

Just heard back from SB support and I'll be credited for this survey by the end of the day. Phew!

Hope everyone else gets the same result :)
