  • Gorgeous bathroom Emsjune.

I have green eyes and tend to wear browns or greys in eyeshadow - but as DD always points out i am boring. I prefer to be bolder in my liner.

Have painted my nails with F.U.N icy snow and DD's with Secret Admirer. The thermal effect wasnt an entire success as she has warm hands and mine are cold but we managed a colour change with running water!

    In.

Free sachet of Head & Shoulders apple shampoo - will give to DH as it has suphate which makes my head itch.

    UU

    Cotton Wool pads.

Am ending the month with -24

My downfall was my continuing beauty box obsession and the Lush sale.

See you next month ladies as I will be here for some time.

I used to get something similar on my chin which was stress related and Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream applied at night was the only thing that helped, then during the day a good primer will help for applying make up over it.

Thanks Dolly i will keep my eyes open for it, do you think this would be gentle enough for the eye area, in particular the eye lids?

    Hi Ladies,

I couldn't get photobucket to work properly at all for pics of the new bathroom, so trying a different tack and taking a picture from Facebook.

very jealous of the lovely new bathroom, i think the bf would have to book appointment slots if he wanted to get me out of one as nice.

Very pleased to report no in's for Jan at all.... and 8 UU's

    3 Body lotions
    2 Body sprays
    1 Showergel
    1 Bubble Bath
    1 Cleanser
    :j

    See you all next month

    Lovely bathroom Emsjune.
I expect to see lots of bath products UU in your February list because I think you'll be spending a lot of time in there! :rotfl:

I did well in January until this week when I found the Aromatherapy Associates sale! :o

8 more INs to report for January.

Another De-stress oil. Got it for £17.55 and it has gone back up to £39 today  so I'm pleased with that.
6 free sample oils, each 3ml. Listed on my stash but too lazy to write them here too! :o

Hydraluron - HG, on offer at a third off in Boots at mo and only had the one I'm using left so wanted one in stock. Would usually have bought two but I know there will be another offer by the time I need another.

Final UUs for January, and both from my PP:

    20. Clinique DD Moisturiding Lotion 125ml - WNBA, prefer the gel as the lotion is a bit heavy for my skin, and this was bought for me in error. Still have a couple of GWP minis.

    21. Hello Kitty Hand Lotion 175ml - WNBA, real LHJ and wasn't moisturising enough.

    Good riddance to both :j

    Final January totals: UU 21 IN 27 = +6 (I blame Boot$ sale!)

    See you ladies in February!

Wizzypop - I would try the 8 hr cream in a very, very thin layer on maybe one eye to see how you get on, it is an amazing product on dry skin, ask for a little sample at a counter and ask the SA's advice (take a little pot with you).

    emsjune - lovely bathroom.

the 8 hour cream is rather thick and heavy, it might be ok short term around the eye area, but may cause millia if used regularly, I think I would try to get to a EA counter and blag a try from the SA before buying. If not PM me, I have an unopened tube and could transfer some to a small pot and send to you.

I would see if you can try the 8 hour cream first before you buy it. I know loads of people swear by it but I tried some on my hand at the airport just before I flew to Tenerife. By the time I got there I had a rash on my hand - was very pleased that I hadn't bought it!

  • Sneaking in one UU before the end of the month (finished it last night)

    - Superdrug Apple & Tea Tree Conditioner (though it was about 50/50 that and a Coconut Conditioner so I wasn't carrying 2 half-empty bottles around). WNBA, claimed to be for dry/damaged hair but had to keep double-conditioning with other products to stop it getting tangly.

    Hi Ladies,

Seems to have worked better, might be too big this time! UU a Lush Bombardino last night, it was so nice, I only wished I have bought more, like bathing in a giant cocktail!! :D Also UU a Bomb Cosmetics Pink Bath Meltz at the wknd I forgot to declare, was pleasant at the time but left an almost off milk smell lingering afterwards, had this before and don't remember an issue so maybe just a dodgy one! Wasn't at all old as a Christmas present from OH so will have been panic bought not long before:rotfl:Enjoy the weekend, I will be mainly painting doors...

So will post my UUs and INs here for Jan. All the orders I placed in the Boxing day sales turned up just before the start of the year so it's made January look like a really good month.

    INS:
Boots Royal Jelly handwash and body lotion bought on the sale for £4.00 instead of £8.00 so equates to £2.00 a piece. Am taking these into work on Monday to replace the LE hand wash and various hand creams I have UUed (will report these last two on the Feb page as they went this morning). So am happy to report that these were not unnecessary purchases as I'm using them practically straight away. Am hoping they are OK. The handwash has SLS in it so hoping it doesn't irritate the sensitive skin on my hands.

Aussie Shampoo x 2 and Conditioner x 1 - 3 for £10.00. I had run out of shampoo totally and always buy Aussie "in bulk" when on offer. Before I bought this extra conditioner I had the following in my stash: Aussie Shine 250ml, Mark Hill Straigthening Conditioner 75ml and Tresemme Reconstructing Conditioner so I suppose not too bad. Will have to try and remember next time I need shampoo to buy 3 x shampoo and no more conditioner.

    Total spend : £14.00

OUTS: 26 with only one being a give away, the rest were UUs. This month so the end of one PP list and I also shifted half of my next allotted list. I also saved £20.50 in my pot towards my new YSL mascara.

    See you all in Feb.
