I just took your advice, and my photo on a msn competition has been deemed funny enough to publish, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for a win0

Rather than do a search every day, if you sign up for a Google Alert, it will email you whenever your chosen search term appears on the net, saving you the bother of looking. It's really simple to do, here: http://www.google.co.uk/alerts
If you have a fairly common name, you might find that you have to put in some 'minus' terms in order to weed out irrelevant results, e.g.: "fred bloggs" -actor -footballer
Fortunately for me, there appears to be only one of me on the Internet. I'm not sure the world could cope with more than one of me!0 -
I googled my name a few weeks ago and found out I had won a rug on Facebook :T
It was a comp from November, luckily they didn't mind that I was late in claimingIt's getting delivered tomorrow, I wonder what size it is?
Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

I try and google my name every couple of weeks.
When I first did it I discovered I had won a painting worth £200 but several months ago so they drew the competition again ;-(Love my hobby ;-)0 -

I (or rather my namesake) is a beauty contest winner.:)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I've just goggled my name and the same name won £100 BHS vouchers on a website, I've had a look at the website and can't remember entering it however it was an advent and at the beginning of December I was entering loads ever day so it's possible it's me.
How do I find out? I've posted a comment on their page so hopefully they'll let me know either way if it's me or not. I've not received an email that I know of, so I'm not going to get my hopes up yet.
Thanks for the tip though!0 -
