Debenhams have just posted their financial results for Xmas, and they are very downbeat, and they have stated that they will need to shift stock this month to catch up.

John Lewis & House Of Fraser posted good sales figures today, but M&S' results (due next week) are predicted to be poor, which could mean more Ladieswear discounts in particular.0

More likely they'll cut their losses by a mass cull of staff before they offer mega discounts. Look at what happened when HMV and Comet had poor sales...0
