IPA question

Hiya, another from me
If I go BR before I start work in Sept I really don't think I will get an IPA/IPO right now due to the stupidly small amount we earn, but might in Sept. However, have just realised (doh!) that this job is only until Dec (might have a chance of extending contract, might not). If I BR now say, don't get an IPA, then inform OR that job & money coming in changes in Sept, and therefore my I&A changes and I get an IPA, then contract doesn't get extended in Dec so my earnings go way down again, what happens with the IPA? Will it still be there for three years, just not me paying when my income is low again and to be restarted when it goes up again (if it does)? Or extended by the amount of time I can't pay because my wage goes low again? Or is it possible that it gets abolished? Or once it's started, it can't be?
All confuzzled and not helping matters by being a confuzzling person in a confuzzling situation (well, amking the OR's job easy wouldn't be on now would it!
JOKE!).
Cheers for any help, or a point in the right direction.

The OR will need to be told of every change of circumstances within 21 days of them occurring. So even if you don't get an IPA now, you'll have to tell him about your change of employment within the 21 days, & he can then impose one if necessary. He can impose one at any time before you are discharged, & it runs for 3 years from the date it starts - it can't be extended for longer than that. If you start paying under an IPA & then your circumstances change meaning that you can't pay it, you have to inform the OR, & your income & expenditure will be looked at again, after which he'll tell you whether payments can be suspended or reduced. If/when your circumstances change again, you'll need to tell him & the re-assessment will be done.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."
