I didn't hear all of it as I had to answer the door (and it wasn't a courier with a surprise parcel :mad::p), but I kinda tuned out after the bloke said he'd won about 500 prizes and had been comping for decades

I think it could be possible if you only entered effort comps and spent a lot of time thinking up slogans, or taking photo's that are quirky and apt, but not with prize draws.

he says he has won 500 prize in 40 years which isn't many.

the DJ read out email from a women, that had won 1,000 competitions in 2013

I heard a couple who got married and done competition's because they was so poor. It has inspired me to do it. I always wanted to do competitions but I got ripped off many years ago sending money to companies who promise to send entry forms to many competitions. I know I am a muppet for believing them. I just know someone has to win the competition and that someone is only going to be someone who entered. I got a bug to do it years ago off a Rice Crispie packet I won a Sega Master System. I have been meaning to enter more since then it must be 20+ years ago now.
