Things To Do In Or Near Knutsford?

Hello

At the begining of September I'm spending 4 or 5 days in knutsford, I was wondering where I can visit.

I love charity shops-are there any good ones to about, I do have a car so can travel around Cheshire?

Car boot sales-any on locally on Sunday's?

Local places of interest? Tattern Park??

Tatton Park is right next to the centre - I would walk in that way rather than follow the signs which will have you driving for miles, and Dunham Massey is very close by.

On Sundays there are several car boot sales around the area. Most notable is one in Chelmsford. Be careful, as a couple of rouge ones have set up in the vicinity trading on the same name; the original (and largest) one is now well signposted and kicks off at 8am.

The local charity shops have suffered of late; as Knutsford is seen as a well-to-do area (if you ignore the Longridge estate hidden round the back), the charity shops have been hit by folk thinking they'll pick up posh peoples' seconds.

For the sites, I would drive out through Alderley Edge and walk / look over Nether Alderley which has a poor claim to be part of Artherian legend, but fantastic views non-the-less.
