Tesco self scans

Earlier this year, I was able to scan £9 of coupons without any assistance. Today, I went to Tesco with 10 coupons - everything I had a coupon (booklet came in the post) for, the product was on offer! Eg 65p off Cheerios and there was a box half price at £1.24 - so 59p, 40p off Ainsley Harriott's couscous when buy 2 packs. Offer is 2 for £1 - so 60p.
Every single coupon I had to get approval for!
Bloody ridicuous! I will refuse to go through self scan at Tesco. Plus there was ONE member of staff for 12 self scans.
At least Sainsburys allow customers to scan extra Nectar point coupons and MOCs up to £2.50 without help 99% of the time!

I had a few coupons the other day in Tesco. I used the self-service till, the assistant told me that after I had used two, she has to authorise every coupon individually after that.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
Till's are f**king ridiculous in some places. Was getting baby wipes (6 or 7 packs as on deal). They needed age verification approval.PK! :money:0

Yes: we can't have teenagers getting high on baby wipes.0 -
I scanned a Tesco win a holiday coupon the other day on the self service till and the shop assistant came running over and opened the coupon box with her key to check what it was!0

my "win £100 worth of shopping" coupon from the Tesco magazine had to be approved...:rotfl:0

It could be another anti-Clubcard fraud measure. And we'd all like to see that stopped wouldn't we!?I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0

Too much abuse with coupons on self service so they have had to clamp down. Much quicker to go to a manned till with a quantity of coupons even before they all needed approval. My advice would be to steer clear of ss tills with more than two coupons.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

I work in a well known supermarket and unfortunately most of the coupons we have through are either out of date or fraudelent now we have to check them on a list to see if they are dodgy ones you would be surprised how many we have and the supermarkets don't recoup there money on them0

I have put loads of vouchers through "scan as you shop" without problems but putting vouchers through self scan needs virtually every one authorising.0

This really annoyed me the other day, every voucher required the assistant, I felt awful0
