Complain to save

I am one of the victims of the terrible service provided by First Great Western. I have found that it really does pay to complain, not just claim refunds. I have complained to my MP several times about the service, via email. My MP forwards these to the train company and I receive large value train vouchers as a result .

PLEASE complain to your MP about bad train services, and keep complaining.

Never tried complaining via my MP before, must give it a try one day and see how it goes. I find complaining via twitter or facebook also gets the just deserved refunds/compo and is quicker easier then a letter.

I normally complain about late trains, toilets out of order or just staff with bad attitudes

It is quick and easy to email your MP and may generate more "good will" in terms of travel vouchers from the travel company

Just emailed my mp for a complaint about a train journey I did a couple of days ago, let's see what happens???

I would imagine it depends very much on how good your MP is! The one for my current constituency is useless!
