Not sure if I'm reassured or not! Some of you say they will go up next month (or whenever the BoE raises again) and some say that they have done their raising for now.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I've found a deal with Skipton BS for 5.69% fixed for 7 years £499 fee but works out better over that time than their 5.59% fixed for 7 years with a whopping £1999 fee.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

The problem is the swap rates are very fluid and change daily reflecting on the current view but there is no guarantee what they forecast is correct, and that over the coming months the swap rates may start to fall back again potetially bring ing some of the fixes back down. (Indeed the very very long term fixes have suddenly twitched back downwards in the last few days)0 -
My 2 year fixed mortgage finishes September with Nationwide
I have got 4.95% fixed and am paying extra £250 over payment per month.
If i ring Nationwide and other mortgage lenders and organise a new mortgage
Will the new mortage start now? or Can i ask them to start it in September?
I am keen on over paying the mortgage
This is the first time am remortgaging so any help will be appreciated
Many thanks
