top up mortgage query

we moved house two years ago, kept our existing mortgage with Nationwide as it was on the BMR and also took up a 2 year fixed top-up mortgage with nationwide as well.

Our topup mortgage is now coming to the end of it's fixed rate period and I am wondering whether we can solely switch this to a new deal leaving our other mortgage still on the BMR.

does anyone have any experience of this?? I'm going to book in to see nationwide soon as we have until february to sort out before this one changes to SMR, but just wondering if anyone has done this and know this is possible.

Your top up mortgage would have taken the form of a separate sub account. So you can switch this to any product that the NW will allow without impacting the other account.
